Last month we announced our brand new Surname Pages. We have found that the pages have a great conversion rate.

One of the ways you can drive traffic to the surname pages is by putting a surname search box on your site. We have put the following two search boxes into Commission Junction for our affiliate to use. They both point visitors to the new Surname Pages.

If you have a search box already on your site, I highly recommend updating it with one of the following search boxes to increase sales.

Affiliate Marketing guru Shawn Collins has create a brand new resource site for affiliates. The site launched last month so it is in the early stages. Check it out and bookmark it for the future. It also has a link to sign up for a newsletter. Shawn sends out very informative newsletters about the affiliate industry - I highly recommend signing up. Here is some info on the new site:

AffiliateTip.com is a free resource to help affiliates with affiliate programs, as well as a guide as to how to promote affiliate programs, and which affiliate programs to promote.

The affiliate programs highlighted on the site are there, because they have an affiliate manager who is responsive and willing to work with you. That's the primary criteria, and it's a given for any program listed. This site will introduce you to affiliate programs where the affiliate manager is a helpful person, and not a ghost. After all, affiliate marketing is all about relationships, and if you cannot communicate with your affiliate manager, you are operating with a handicap.

In addition, there are comments about the affiliate programs listed to indicate key information, such as:

Here are a couple great spam filters that are "musts" to utilize if you like to do email marketing! Run your important mailings through them before hitting "Send" to your recipients.
